Skin Beauty Tips

Eye cream

The skin around the eye is one of the most sensitive areas. Proper application will reduce chances of irritation - including redness and swelling.
Only a tiny amount of eye cream is needed to cover the area. Dot the eye cream along the lower eye socket bone and gently pat (do not rub!) the cream at the inner corner of the eye and outward around the eye area with your ring finger

Moisturiser

Apply moisturiser on your face, gently press them onto your face. Using upward and outward movements, pat the moisturiser into your skin, taking particular care around your eyes. Re-apply to your hands if there is no cream left and sweep up and over your neck and throat. Let the moisturiser soak in for a few minutes. 

Exfoliation

Once or twice a week you should incorporate a dedicated exfoliator into your regime. Exfoliation gently removes these dead cells and reveals new softer, clearer and glowing skin. It also helps in boosting the blood circulation. Always scrub gently on the wet face and use circular motion to remove the dead skin.

SKIN FOODS
Oily Fish 
To keep your skin hydrated, you need to eat more fat – in the form of essential fatty acids or EFAs. These are simply fats your body needs to make cell membranes, hormones, and other body chemicals. Omega 3 and Omega 6 can’t be made by your body, so it’s important to eat foods that contain them. If you become deficient in EFA’s you may find that your skin starts to become dry, and it will be prone to fine lines. Good sources of Omega 3 – an important EFA - are oily fish such - salmon, sardines, mackerel, trout and tuna.

Nuts and Seeds
Most nuts and seeds, plus olive and flaxseed oil are excellent sources of Omega 6 EFA’s – including a daily dose of these will help to keep your skin supple and wrinkle-free. Other foods containing Omega 6 are avocados, kale, spinach, wheat germ oil, and mustard greens.

Fresh Vegetables
There are so many reasons why you should be including fresh vegetables in your diet, and here’s another one. Fresh vegetables contain plentiful antioxidant vitamins, which all help to nourish the skin and protect it from ageing. Broccoli, red and yellow peppers, cauliflower, carrots, spinach and sweet potato are all good sources of antioxidant vitamins A, C and E, so stock up on these super foods to feed your skin from within.

Berries
Berries are another natural super food, and they contain a whole host of important nutrients which will be good for your inner health and wellbeing...and feed your skin too. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries are rich sources of vitamins and minerals and their supplies of antioxidant vitamins will help to protect your skin from the harmful effects of pollution.
