Wake Your Skin Up With This Simple Technique

If one of my clients is tired, overworked or not sleeping well, and skin appeared dull, in order to brighten the face, I recommend ensuring ample blood circulation by using the soft pads of your fingertips and gently, but firmly, patting the face.

Here's how to do it:

Step 1: Since the eyes are prone to fluid
 retention (those annoying under-eye bags), begin at the top of the cheek bones and pat with your fingers quickly towards the nose, then back to the cheek bones in an upward motion, coming around to the temples and upward across the brows.

Step 2: Next, apply a tiny amount of light daytime moisturizer using upward, smoothing strokes, moving up the neck to the jawline.

Step 3: Purse your lips as you tap at the outside corners of the mouth and out to the cheeks.

A few moments of patting will bring a flushed pink color to the skin. This is oxygen coming to the rescue, and voila', the face is brighter and appears tighter.
