Welcome To Lo's World

Live well, love a whole lot and laugh as much as possible. These three things keep me humbled each and everyday. For the most part, life for me has been a struggling journey to find myself and love who I am.  For people that really know me, they get this because a vast majority of us go through this same journey of self discovery.  Times are passing by quickly and I have no desire to stop and give it up even though it's been hard.  Being a single mom and a good one has been my primary focus. My hard work at succeeding this daunting, but worthwhile task is paying off.  I have 3 teenage sons. My first son is graduating high school and going to college this Fall. I am so proud of him and the other two 16, and 13 are following right behind them.  If there is anything I have been most proud of was being able to bring them into world and raising them as the men I would like to see more in this world. We will get on the topic of men later on. To give you the gist of what men have been like in my life. I will say most of them are from Mars. LOL I just visited their planet and they visited mine and that's that. Love is something I do value and hope one day really truly happens for me, but I raised the three loves of my life and if that is all that I get, then my plate is full and will feel fulfilled in knowing I loved as a mother and a true friend.
I want this blog to be personable, a teaching tool, and a journey for all my readers.  You can live a fabulous life without all the excess.  I live by this quote: "You live and learn. At any rate, you live."
